Winnipeg Walking Group

The walking group provides a chance for community members who are blind or have low vision to exercise and practice their mobility and travel skills. This group meets every Monday (Tuesday when there is a long weekend) from 10 to 11 a.m.

Accessible Yoga

his class is all about making yoga accessible to everyone, no matter your experience or physical ability. You’ll move at your own pace, with support for breathwork and mindfulness throughout. Every Monday from  5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Zoom.

Song Bingo Game Night

Come join us on alternating Fridays for our Song Bingo Game Night! All you need to participate is access to phone or Zoom and a bingo card at home or online! Feel free to play as a family or house! There will be prizes for the first 3 bingo winners of each game and those who correctly name the most tunes! This program is open to participants of all ages. Song Bingo Game Night meets on Zoom on alternating Friday's from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

Bible Study Group

Join us on for a walking program that aims to get you out, moving and making friends. The walk will start and finish at the Ottawa Hub in Lansdowne Park. Brandon Yoga

Brandon Yoga is an opportunity for participants in the Brandon area to enjoy yoga in a therapeutic setting for 8 weekly sessions twice per year with session in spring and fall, with the next spring session beginning Thursday, March 19 and running until Thursday May , at The Divine Energy Massage Therapy (1011 Rosser Ave. Suite 402, Brandon).

The music social is a themed radio-style night of music appreciation, where participants give song requests to the hosts and we listen to music, chat, and answer trivia questions together! LITE Live Theatre Entertainment

Art Nights – with the Dunlop Art Gallery

Join CNIB and the Dunlop Art Gallery to create different art projects! Program dates are announced monthly. Supplies can also be mailed out to individuals prior to the sessions so that you have all the materials you will need. Last Wednesday of every month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m at the Regina Public Library or online via Zoom.

Calgary Cafe Night

Join us for coffee, snacks, and live music at the CNIB Calgary office! The Calgary Cafe Night meets on the last Friday of May, September, November, January and March from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at CNIB Calgary.

Calgary Music Group

The Calgary Music Group is open to individuals over the age of 18 who are interested in participating and learning in a musical group setting. The main focus of the group is to work together on various songs with the goals of increasing knowledge, participation and enjoyment of music. All instruments (including voice!) are welcome, but all participants must bring their own instruments to the group. Second and fourth Monday of every month from 6 to 8 p.m. at CNIB Calgary.

Seated Dance Fitness

The program will be delivered by BC Blind Sports facilitators abd offers a variety of inclusive and adaptive fitness programs designed specifically for individuals who are blind, partially sighted, or Deafblind. The program is designed to support physical activity, confidence, and social connection in a safe, welcoming environment. Sessions use clear verbal instruction and adapted movement options, making them accessible to participants of all fitness levels, including older adults and those seeking low impact exercise. Second and fourth Thursday of every month from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time on Zoom.

Regina Exercise Hour

A variety of exercises are included in the exercise hours program; participants will perform simple motions in certain sessions, while some sessions will take place in the water. Every other Thursday (subject to change) from 6 to 7 p.m, at the at the YMCA Building (5939 Rochdale Blvd., Regina)

Art at Remai Modern

CNIB has partnered with the Remai Modern Art Gallery to bring an opportunity to create and to enjoy a descriptive tour. Please join us for a described tour of art exhibits followed by a tactile art project. All materials and instruction will be provided. If you need an ASL interpreter, please let us know a minimum of five days in advance. Remai Modern once a month, tentatively on the fourth Thursday of every month, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Remai Modern in Saskatoon.

Music has a unique way of touching the heart and bringing people together. Its rhythms and melodies can be soothing, uplifting, and deeply nourishing for the soul! The CNIB Harmony Choir Program invites youth and adults who are blind or partially sighted from across Vancouver Island to experience the joy, connection, and personal expression that singing in community can offer. Art Touch Tour with Jordan Danger

Join us to attend a special Touch Tour Airspace: Art of the Landfill by Jordan Danger, her newest exhibition. This art exhibition is made up of 15 pieces, with half of those being sculptures, and half of those being highly textural hanging canvasses. Almost all of these pieces are a treat to touch, not just to look at. Thursday, April 9 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Ben Franklin Place (101 Centrepointe Drive, Nepean).

Birdability: Blind Birder Community Conversations – April 14

Birdability is hosting a series of opportunities for learning and community-building each month. These sessions are open, informal, and designed to support both new and experienced participants. You’ll learn birding-by-ear skills, explore technology for recording and identifying sounds, and connect with a growing community of blind and low-vision birders.

Calling all music enthusiasts –  join us at for our monthly music circle! You'll be encouraged to sing, play instruments, participate in breathing exercises and move your body or tap your feet to the music. Toronto Ornithological Club: Learn Birding by Ear

The Toronto Ornithological Club (T.O.C.) is leading two outings for people who are blind or have low vision to learn birding by ear. Saturday, April 25 and June 6 at High Park in Toronto.

Building Bridges to Community

This program is designed to provide support for Indigenous people who are blind or partially sighted through traditional teachings and empowerment in a safe, welcoming environment. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in accessible land-based learning, engage with facilitators from a variety of backgrounds, and build meaningful relationships within their community. The program will meet in person once a month, creating ongoing opportunities to connect through Indigenous ways of knowing.

Cooking with Linda

Come and join Linda monthly to prepare different dishes you can eat yourself or share with family and friends. For a truly interactive experience, Linda welcomes you to cook and bake along with her in the comfort of your own kitchen! Less Trivial: “Creature” by half alive

Skip the random facts—Less Trivial is all about teamwork and clever thinking. Tackle word puzzles, riddles, number games, Family Feud–style matchups, and even guess songs or soundscapes. Hosted monthly by Jeff deViller, Executive Director of CNIB Maritimes, it’s an evening where everyone can join in, no matter how much you know. In 2026, each month will feature a song, taking it’s lyrics to inspire different rounds of that night’s game. This month’s song is “Creature” by half alive. Birdability: Blind Birder Bird-a-Thon 2026

A Bird-a-Thon is a birding event during which birders try to see or hear as many bird species as possible during a set period of time, in this case, a 24-hour period within two days in May. The goal of the 2nd Annual Global Blind Birder Bird-a-Thon is to encourage blind and partially sighted birders of any age, experience, or location to head outdoors, tune in, and celebrate the sounds and songs that make birding such a powerful practice of connection.

Toronto Ornithological Club: Blind Birder Bird-a-Thon

The Toronto Ornithological Club (T.O.C.)  is sponsoring an outing in High Park for people who want to participate in this year's global Blind Birder Bird-a-Thon. This is a fun annual event where people who are blind or have low vision identify as many birds as they can by ear and report back. The T.O.C. will be providing guides and assistance in finding and identifying birds.
