We are excited to invite clients, family members, and professionals who support individuals with vision loss to join us on Tuesday, May 12 for a day of exploration and fun!

Morning Session (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) at the CNIB London Community Hub

We will kick off the day with an introduction to braille, exploring its origins, history, structure, and impact. Participants will have the opportunity to discover the many ways braille is used in everyday life and learn why braille literacy is so essential for independence and inclusion.

Lunch (12 –12:30 PM) at the CNIB London Community Hub

Pizza and Pop/Water will be provided 

Afternoon Session (12:30 - 3 PM) Hybrid Session, in-person at the CNIB London Community Hub and online via Zoom

The afternoon will be dedicated to the LEGO Braille Bricks, an innovative learning tool designed to make braille accessible and engaging through play, interactive activities, and games. This session will also be open to a virtual audience, so please share this invitation with anyone who may be interested in joining online. If you are only going to attend the online portion, please do not register – instead, email vera.orsini@cnib.ca

Registration  required. To register, please complete the CNIB Auto Registration Form. Please note that space is limited. If you register and are unable to attend, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to the next person on the waitlist.
