At CNIB we know that it can be difficult finding a place for your children with sight loss to go when school is off for the day. We are now offering a program that will supplement the need to find care for some of the shared P.D days across the school divisions within the city while also focusing on life skills.
This program is completely free of charge to all children with sight loss in grades 1 to 8, offering families the opportunity to bring their kids to CNIB Winnipeg (1080 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg) while we run activities ranging in education, recreation, arts, technology and more.
Here is the schedule for the remainder of the school year:
- Monday, February 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Friday, March 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Friday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Friday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Friday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration required. To register, please complete the CNIB Auto Registration Form.
Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.
