Allyship is defined as: “The state or condition of being an ally – supportive association with another person or members of a marginalized or mistreated group to which one does not belong.”
In this one-day workshop, friends and family of those with sight loss will learn how to be effective supports. This workshop will also break down negative stereotypes and barriers. Finally, it will provide tangible solutions to common scenarios.
The Empowered Allyship Workshop is held on Tuesday, October 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time on Zoom. Zoom information will be shared after registering.
