After holding focus groups across Alberta, CNIB created this legal information handbook to provide helpful responses to some of the most common questions we heard. 

In the handbook below, you’ll find: 

  • An overview of your most important legal rights related to transportation
  • Answers to common questions like 
    • "The buses that I use are inaccessible. What can I do?"
    • "I often encounter barriers when trying to use a transportation service.  I'd like to make a complaint, but I don't where to start. What can I do?"
    • "I was denied access to a taxi because I am accompanied by a guide dog. What can I do?"
    • "I was denied accommodations and treated poorly by airport/airline staff. What can I do?"
