Advocacy Resources
CNIB is advocating alongside community members across Canada to break down societal barriers to accessibility and create a more inclusive society for people living with sight loss. We have created resources to support community members when engaging in advocacy in their local communities, whether as a formal CNIB Community Engagement Volunteer, a person living with sight loss, or an ally who wants to help bring about change.

Community Engagement Volunteer – Program Overview
Community Engagement Volunteers are people who are blind or partially sighted, their friends or family, or anyone who has a connection to the mission and wants to make a difference in their community. They are self-starters who can bring together community and drive local grassroots campaigns as well as support national advocacy issues in their region through collaborating with others.
