The Healing Leash: Honouring Guide Dog Loss is a 4-week, volunteer-led peer support group for anyone who has experienced the loss of a Guide Dog—through passing, retirement, or rehoming.
Participants will have the opportunity to share their stories, honour the special bond they shared with their Guide Dog, offer mutual support, and find comfort through shared experiences and insights. The group is open to all who have experienced guide dog loss.

Please note that submitting your interest does not guarantee a place in a future session. Space will be limited to help ensure a supportive and meaningful group experience. For specific questions about working with a currently active Guide Dog or the process of acquiring a new one, please contact your guide dog school of choice.
