CNIB and AEBC are teaming up to ensure that members of the sight loss community are prepared for the upcoming wildfire season and other unforeseen emergencies. Through this workshop, participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to navigate emergency situations calmly and confidently. This session is specifically designed for families along with youth, we welcome participants and their entire family to join us. Together, we will help build a network of support and community resources to equip each participant. 

The VCH Emergency Preparedness Workshop for families will be held Saturday, February 7 from 12 to 3 p.m. This event is hybrid via Zoom; however, you are encouraged to attend in person at CNIB New Westminster for the hands on experience (610 6th St Unit 201B, New Westminster).

Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program. Zoom link will be provided in a reminder email to registered participants/families. The first 20 participating families will receive emergency kits to take home, with priority given to those attending in person! Lunch will be provided for all participants at the New West office.
