We’re excited to welcome you to our new location at CNIB, 1929 Bayview Avenue, where you can refresh, repair, and renew your beloved items. Bring in your assistive technology, clothing, bags, and jewelry for some much-needed fixing care. Whether it’s an everyday item you rely on or a favourite piece you’re not ready to part with, our skilled volunteer fixers are here to help give your well-loved items a new lease on life.
Join us for the CNIB Repair Café Toronto on Saturday, September 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the CNIB National Office (1929 Bayview, Toronto) Room 103.
What we fix:
Our team specializes in repairing accessibility devices and select household items, including:
- Refurbishing white canes
- Braillers
- Replacing batteries in talking watches
- Fixing handheld magnifiers
- Small sewing jobs
- Small household items such as kettles, coffee machines, and more

We encourage people to RSVP in advance to secure priority for repairs, although walk-ins are also welcome until 1 p.m., subject to availability. Priority is given to those who register in advance. Repairs are provided on a donation basis and are completed at your own risk. All participants must follow safety procedures and adhere to the Code of Conduct.
