Algoma After Sight is a welcoming and fully accessible space for conversation, shared experiences, and mutual support. Whether you prefer to listen, chat, or simply connect with others living with sight loss, you are warmly invited to join.
Sessions may include:
- Peer support from individuals with lived experience
- Demonstrations of assistive technology
- Practical tips for daily living
- Shared stories and experiences
- Opportunities to connect in person
Whether you’re newly adjusting to vision loss or have been living with it for some time, Algoma After Sight provides a supportive space to connect, learn, and grow.
Algoma After Sight meets on the second Friday of every month from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library (232 Northern Avenue East, Sault Ste. Marie).
Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.
