Refresh and renew your beloved items at the CNIB Repair Café Toronto as you get ready for the season of flowers, picnics, and backyard garden parties. Whether your gardening tools need a tune-up, your favourite tea kettle needs attention, or your Keurig machine is getting ready for spring gatherings, our skilled volunteer fixers are here to help. As the weather shifts, it is also a great time to bring in your jackets, raincoats, backpacks, and handbags for a little fixing care.

Join us for the CNIB Repair Café Toronto on Saturday,  May 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CNIB GTA Community Hub (1525 Yonge Street, Toronto).

Spring is the perfect time to refresh and restore the items you rely on. Join us at the CNIB Repair Café Toronto and give your accessibility devices and everyday household items the care they deserve.

What we fix:

Our team specializes in repairing accessibility devices and select household items, including:

  • Refurbishing white canes
  • Braillers
  • Replacing batteries in talking watches
  • Fixing handheld magnifiers Small household items such as kettles, coffee machines, and more

We encourage people to RSVP in advance to secure priority for repairs, although walk-ins are also welcome until 1 p.m., subject to availability. Priority is given to those who register in advance. Repairs are provided on a donation basis and are completed at your own risk. All participants must follow safety procedures and adhere to the Code of Conduct.
