CNIB is inviting Edmonton and Winnipeg residents to ride their local transit services and complete a short survey about their rider experience.
Your input will help Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) and Winnipeg Transit better understand the experiences of passengers who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision, including what's working well and where improvements are needed.
The survey takes just a few minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous and will be used as part of a joint project with CNIB and local transit authorities to assess transit accessibility and inform recommendations for improving public transit in Edmonton and Winnipeg.
Ride Transit and Take the Survey by July 13!
While riding transit, please pay attention to the accessibility of your journey. Consider things like trip planning, getting to and from stops or stations, boarding and exiting the vehicle, signage and announcements, and wayfinding.
Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. If you have any questions or would prefer to take the survey over the phone, please email advocacy@cnib.ca.
