Pilates is about more than a workout. It can help build strength, improve balance, posture and mobility, and support confidence and overall well-being. If you’re completely new to pilates or simply curious to give it a try, this class is a great place to start.
Our instructor, Chantelle Dillon, is a certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor through Body Harmonics Canada and a graduate of George Brown College’s Intervenor for Deafblind Persons Program. Her experience as an Intervenor has given her a unique understanding of how to clearly communicate movement and adapt instruction to individual needs.
This inclusive pilates class will bring together City of London Pilates instructors and members of the blind and low vision community for a shared experience of movement, learning, and connection. Move at your own pace and find your flow! If you do not have a yoga mat, please bring a towel or blanket and a water bottle.
The Introduction to Pilates class will be held on Wednesday, November 25 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Civic Gardens (625 Springbank Drive, London).
Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.
