CNIB's Mobile Hub is coming to Belleville, Ontario on Thursday, April 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Belleville Public Library (254 Pinnacle Street, Belleville).
Drop in to meet CNIB staff and learn more about free programs and resources for people who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision. Enjoy a day of recreational and social activities, technology workshops, and much more. Experience the latest breakthroughs in assistive tech from CNIB SmartLife and connect with other members of the sight loss community. Our free programs are designed to educate, entertain, and engage community members who are blind, as well as their families, friends, and caregivers.
CNIB program leads will be on-site to discuss and provide information about free programs available through CNIB, including technology, advocacy, children and youth, and vision mate programs, along with other resources for people living with blindness or any degree of vison loss.
We’ll also offer hands-on demonstrations of accessible tech products, on-site purchases with free shipping for orders made during the event, and complimentary snacks and refreshments. If there's a specific tech item you'd like to demo or purchase, please reach out to Marwan Nahal in advance by phone 613-691-9600 or by email marwan.nahal@cnib.ca.
Please note: If time does not permit certain topics or questions to be discussed during the event, our team’s contact information will be provided, and they would be happy to discuss it one on one at a later date over the phone or by email.
While registering for the Mobile Hub is strongly encouraged, walk-ins are also welcome. To register, please complete the CNIB Auto Registration Form or call 1-800-563-2642
