After holding focus groups in New Brunswick, CNIB created this legal information handbook to provide helpful responses to some of the most common questions we heard.

In the handbook below, you’ll find: 

  • An overview of your most important legal rights related to transportation
  • Answers to common questions like 
    • "I often encounter barriers when trying to use a transportation service. I'd like to make a complaint, but I don't where to start. What can I do?"
    • "I have been denied access to an accessible bussing service because I do not use a mobility device such as a wheelchair. What can I do?”
    • " I was denied access to a taxi because I am accompanied by a guide dog. What can I do?"
