Join us for After School Special, a vibrant and welcoming program designed specifically for children and youth living with sight loss. Offered the third Thursday of the month from 4 to 5 p.m. Eastern Time, it will give everyone the chance to keep connections with camp friends - or friends they haven't met yet - strong.

We'll be chatting with a police officer about "stranger danger," fraud, and a typical day-in-the-life of a police officer.

In this new program, we will be covering a different topic relating to CNIB Lake Joe! Whether you're new to Lake Joe or a seasoned camper, join us for videos, special guests, and updates the third Monday of each month, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Eastern.

Ben Akuoko, Program Lead, Advocacy & Accessible Community Engagement will talk about CNIB's Children's Charter and describe ways we all can help move the needle for children with sight loss. A restorative retreat where mindfulness, movement, and nature come together to help you build confidence, clarity, and a personalized wellness plan.

This CNIB Lake Joe "partner program" is an intensive, weeklong, collaborative training program for applicants of CNIB Guide Dogs. Each day, participants will work one-on-one with Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialists and Guide Dog Mobility Instructors to develop and refine the skills required to be successful guide dog handlers.
