Canadian Blind Hockey is thrilled to announce the return of the Ottawa 67’s Youth Blind Hockey Team for another incredible season in the nation’s capital! Each year this program keeps getting bigger and better, with more enthusiastic players and amazing volunteers joining the fun.

Blind Hockey is played across Canada by athletes who are blind or partially sighted who have approximately 10% vision or less. The sport uses an adapted puck that makes noise and is larger than a traditional puck.

Thanks to the incredible support of the OSEG Foundation, Canadian Blind Hockey is proud to offer 20 weeks of action-packed hockey from October through March—building skills, making friends, and creating memories that lead right up to the highlight of the season: the Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournament in Toronto.

This team is open to all children and youth who are blind or partially sighted between the ages of 4 and 20—no skating or hockey experience needed! Canadian Blind Hockey will even help provide gear for those who need it. Plus, sighted siblings, parents, and family members with hockey experience are encouraged to join in as coaches or volunteers, making it a true family and community experience.

The Ottawa 67’s Youth Blind Hockey Team meets every Saturday (October 25, 2025 to  March 14, 2026) from 12 to 1 p.m. at the McNabb Community Centre (180 Percy Street, Ottawa. K1R 6E5).

The registration fee for the 2025-2026 Season is $400. Financial assistance is available. Canadian Blind Hockey does not want finances to be a barrier for anyone who is blind or partially sighted to participate in Canada’s National Winter Sport.

Don’t miss out on being part of this growing, supportive, and fun community. Come skate, play, and grow — join the Canadian Blind Hockey family today!
