CNIB's Mobile Hub is visiting Whitehorse, Yukon on Wednesday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Golden Age Society (4061A 4 Ave., Whitehorse).
Drop in to meet CNIB staff and learn more about free programs and resources for people who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision. Enjoy a day of recreational and social activities, technology workshops, and much more. Experience the latest breakthroughs in assistive tech from CNIB SmartLife and connect with other members of the sight loss community. Our free programs are designed to educate, entertain, and engage community members who are blind, as well as their families, friends, and caregivers.
CNIB program leads will be on-site to discuss and provide information about free programs available through CNIB, including technology, advocacy, peer support programs, along with other resources for people living with blindness or any degree of vision loss. We’ll also offer hands-on demonstrations of accessible tech products from CNIB SmartLife and select on-site purchased can be made (debit or credit only) during the visit.
