Important Contacts & CNIB Guide Dogs Emergency Hotline

When our dogs are at the puppy raising stage, your first point of contact will be the Puppy Development Trainer (PDT) associated with the region you live in. If your Puppy Development Trainer is on leave, please contact Andrea Critch, Manager, Early Canine Development (andrea.critch@cnib.ca or 613-242-6919).

We encourage volunteers to communicate with staff during regular business hours unless the matter requires an urgent response.

In the case of an emergency, call CNIB Guide Dogs 24h Emergency Hotline at 1-866-264-2364.

Call the hotline if your puppy needs medical attention outside your vet's business hours or goes missing. You can also arrange vet care payments through the hotline to avoid out-of-pocket costs.
