North Bay Sight Loss Connect is an in-person peer support group for people of all ages living with sight loss, along with their friends and supporters. It provides a welcoming and inclusive space to connect with others who have shared experiences, exchange ideas, and offer mutual support. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with coffee, conversation, and connection. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, share practical tips, learn from one another, and enjoy some lighthearted moments together. In addition to open discussion, sessions may occasionally feature guest speakers or short presentations on topics such as accessibility, independence, assistive technology, community resources, relationships, and overall well-being. You can expect casual conversations, light activities, and meaningful connections in a friendly environment.
North Bay Sight Loss Connect meets on the last Wednesday of every month from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Marina Point Village (225 Oak Street West, North Bay).
Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.
