Join CNIB and Durham Region Transit (DRT) for an interactive accessible transit event in Ajax.
Participants who are blind, Deafblind or have low vision will have the opportunity to ride public transit alongside DRT representatives, share their experiences, and provide feedback on transit accessibility. Following the ride, participants will return to DRT headquarters for a group discussion about what is working well, where barriers exist, and opportunities to make transit more accessible and inclusive.
Your feedback will help CNIB better understand the experiences of riders in Durham Region and contribute to a balanced assessment of DRT’s accessibility as part of CNIB’s Transit Accessibility Scorecard.
Thursday, November 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Durham Region Transit Headquarters (110 Westney Road S, Ajax).
