CNIB's Mobile Hub is visiting Okotoks, Alberta on Monday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Okotoks Public Library – in the program room (23 Riverside Drive, Okotoks). 

Drop in to meet CNIB staff and learn more about free programs and resources for people who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision. Our free programs are designed to educate, entertain, and engage community members who are blind, as well as their families, friends, and caregivers. 

On-site services include representatives from: Technology, peer support, ambassador and advocacy programs. Experience the latest breakthroughs in assistive tech from CNIB SmartLife, available to test and purchase by debit or credit (no cash).

Come out for some Knitting fun at the Ottawa Hub. Join us if you are an avid knitter, working on a project, or new to the craft. Share your knowledge with others in the group if you have experience, or learn a new skill from others. There will be some donated supplies available, or feel free to bring in a project or materials you may have. Accessible Technology Training – Thunder Bay
Thunder Bay
CNIB SmartLife Coach, Sara Salo, and technology volunteers are here to help participants get familiarized with SmartLife Assistive Technology, to assist with making smartphones and tablets more accessible and to recommend and offer demos on accessibility apps. Online training is also available upon request. Appointments are available Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at CNIB Thunder Bay.

Physical activity is very important and a great opportunity to connect with others experiencing vision loss. The walking group is open to all adults. The Saskatoon Walking Group meets every second Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Market Mall.
