The CNIB Mobile Hub is visiting Lethbridge, Alberta on Wednesday, April 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lethbridge Public Library – Main Branch (810 5 Ave. S, Lethbridge) in the Theatre Gallery.

Drop in to meet CNIB staff and learn more about programs and resources available for people who are blind or have low vision. This program is designed to educate, connect, and engage community members who are blind, as well as their families, friends, and caregivers.

This will be a great opportunity to connect with others in the community, learn about CNIB programs and supports, explore assistive technology, and share your experiences with accessibility in Lethbridge.

The City of Lethbridge will be joining us to speak directly with community members about Audible Pedestrian Signals, also known as APS. These are the signals at crosswalks that provide audio cues to help with safe street crossings. This is a great opportunity to share your experiences and help to shape where the next 10 APS locations will be installed in Lethbridge this year.

While registering for the Mobile Hub is strongly encouraged, walk-ins are also welcome. To register, please complete the CNIB Auto Registration Form or call 1-800-563-2642.
