CNIB's Mobile Hub is visiting Arichat, Nova Scotia on Wednesday, April 15 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Isle Madame New Horizons Senior Citizens Club (2373 NS-206, Arichat).
Join us at the CNIB Mobile Hub in Arichat for a day of connection, empowerment and community! Drop in to meet CNIB staff and learn more about free programs and resources for people who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision. Our free programs are designed to educate, entertain, and engage community members who are blind, as well as their families, friends, and caregivers.
Each Mobile Hub visit combines food, conversation, and a featured presentation. CNIB program leads will join the socials in Cape Breton this month and provide information about free programs available through CNIB, including technology programs and the Come to Work program, along with other resources for people living with blindness or any degree of vision loss.
Our tech lead will also be on hand to answer your burning questions about assistive technology and our mobile CNIB SmartLife centre will be on site, selling accessible tech products ranging from white canes and magnifiers to advanced tech devices.
