CNIB Catch the Ace is a multiple-draw raffle lottery where every ticket you buy gives you a chance to win a weekly cash prize and a growing progressive jackpot. And the best part? All proceeds from Catch the Ace support CNIB’s mission to deliver innovative programs and powerful advocacy that empower people who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision to live the lives they choose. So, every time you play, you’re also making a difference in the lives of Ontarians with sight loss.

How it works

1. Buy your tickets and pick a card

When you purchase your tickets, you’ll receive unique ticket numbers for that week’s draw and be asked to select a numbered playing card from a standard 52-card deck.

40 tickets For $10
100 tickets For $20
250 tickets For $40

A more convenient way to play

Enrol in weekly autoplay, and your tickets will be purchased for you every week, so you never miss a draw! Just opt-in at checkout.

2. Watch for the weekly draw and card reveal

Every Wednesday, we'll draw one lucky winner from that week's ticket sales. The winner receives the weekly cash prize (minimum $1,000) and the numbered playing card they picked is flipped over and revealed.

If the card is the Ace of Spades, they win both the weekly prize and the progressive jackpot, and the game ends.

If the card is not the Ace of Spades, that card is removed from the deck and the game continues.

3. Keep playing until the Ace of Spades is found

The fewer the cards left, the better the odds! The progressive jackpot keeps growing until the Ace of Spades is found and there’s no telling how big it could get. Our last Catch the Ace final jackpot reached a whopping $328,825!

Two chances to win, every week!

"We’re a great partnership. Beacon is very good at guiding me. And the doors have been opened for me to travel at nighttime, anytime. And I’m just so happy and delighted that I have a partner that really, really likes to work with me." - Barb, handler of CNIB Guide Dog Beacon

“At Lake Joe, the people are pretty amazing. I learned a lot from them the first few years I was there. I was really lost, but they taught me that your life isn't over just because you can't see, there's so many amazing experiences you can still have.” -  CNIB Lake Joe Guest
