Join us for lunch and conversation as we relaunch our CNIB Halifax Social & Lunch! It’s the same welcoming social you’ve come to know, with a new focus on learning from one another through shared lived experiences of sight loss.
This month, we’re pleased to welcome Jennifer MacNeil, Talent Pool Cultivation Manager with CNIB’s Come to Work program. Jennifer is congenitally blind and has navigated many aspects of life with sight loss—from leaving a small community to attend university in Halifax, to building a career, and transitioning from being a white cane user to a guide dog user. Jennifer will share her journey and talk about finding joy and balance through her many hobbies, including playing recreational goalball, singing in several choirs, and crafting.

The CNIB Halifax Social meets on Thursday, February 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CNIB Halifax.
