Volunteer roles for every schedule

We’re also looking for amazing volunteers to join us throughout the summer, with opportunities for both one-week stay volunteers and local volunteers who can support us on a recurring basis.

•    One-week volunteers: Support a full week of programming and guest engagement.
•    Local volunteers (Muskoka & surrounding areas): Who live nearby and can commit to weekly shifts between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. throughout the summer. These volunteers will help deliver programs, greet guests, and support our front desk and Welcome Centre. Your presence helps ensure a warm, accessible, and welcoming environment for everyone who comes to Lake Joe.

We are also recruiting passionate leaders to join the CNIB Lake Joe Advisory Board. If you have lived experience, previous Board and/or professional experience in decision-making, are a business or community leader, or have a passion for accessible recreation, serving on the CNIB Lake Joe advisory board is a meaningful way to help shape the future of this cherished community.
