We want to help you achieve your academic goals!

Every year, CNIB's scholarship program awards multiple scholarships, bursaries and other educational awards to people who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision in recognition of their educational aspirations and achievements. Whether you're just starting out in a cool apprenticeship, diving into skilled trades, or leveling up with continuing education, a scholarship or bursary is waiting just for you!

It’s not just about grades. Scholarships are awarded based on a wide range of factors, including financial need, location, community involvement, demonstrated resilience to overcoming barriers, leadership skills, ambitions, achievements, and goals. If you are pursuing a diploma or degree, skilled trades certificate, apprenticeship, continuing education program, or post-graduate degree, we encourage you to apply!

Scholarship applications for the 2026/27 school year will open March 23, 2026 and close June 26, 2026. Please check back then.
