The Saskatchewan Parent Advocacy Group is designed for parents and caregivers of children and youth who are blind, partially sighted or Deafblind to come together to establish a collective voice to advocate for the needs of children living with sight loss in Saskatchewan. Together the members of this group will share their thoughts and highlight their concerns from their lived experience. Together your voices will be used to help develop a larger voice from a parent and caregiver perspective for the changes that need to be made to create a safe and barrier-free journey for youth with sight loss from the start of their journey and throughout.
The Saskatchewan Parent Advocacy Group meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month (excluding December) from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Zoom. Zoom information will be shared after registering.
Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.
