If you're struggling to overcome the emotional challenges of sight loss and wish you had someone to help you work through these feelings, you’re not alone. We're here for you. This peer support group is for community members in the Medicine Hat area to get together and chat about successes, struggles, and resources when living with sight loss.

The Medicine Hat Peer Support Group meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 1 to 3 p.m. at Chinook Village, East Building – 4th Floor Lounge (2904 15th Ave. SE, Medicine Hat).

Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.

Let’s Talk: CNIB in PEI – Morning Session
Recently, CNIB made the decision to close its physical office in PEI. We recognize that we did not provide enough information at the time about why this decision was made or what the future of CNIB PEI will look like, and we want to address that now. These sessions are an opportunity to hear directly from us, ask questions, and learn more about what this change means for you and what comes next. We’ll talk about how CNIB will continue to support Islanders who are blind or partially sighted through community-based programs, Mobile Hubs, and new approaches designed to reach more people across the province. There will be a morning session and an evening session to make it possible for as many people as possible to participate. We hope you’ll join us for one! Tuesday, September 22 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Zoom.
