Government & Consumer Services Handbook – New Brunswick

After holding focus groups in New Brunswick, CNIB created this legal information handbook to provide helpful responses to some of the most common questions we heard.

In the handbook below, you’ll find: 

• An overview of your most important legal rights related to  government and consumer services.
• Answers to common questions like 
  • "Due to my sight loss, I'm having trouble navigating government websites and accessing online services. What can I do?"
  • "When shopping or dining out, I often encounter an inaccessible point of sale terminal. What can I do?"
  • "Are my rights as a guide dog handler to enter businesses, restaurants, etc. different from the rights of people who travel with service animals?”
