Connecting the Dots 2022 – Calgary Swag Bag

Main Content

Welcome to Connecting the Dots!

A talented group of Canadian-owned small businesses have generously contributed to our swag bag for conference attendees. Many of these businesses are led by entrepreneurs with sight loss who are a part of CNIB's Venture Pool. Included in your swag bag you'll find:

1. A handmade keychain from Neena's Noticeables. Created by CNIB Venture Pool member, Neena Avery, there are two keychain styles. Some of the keychains  are made of round acrylic beads and decorative beads like hearts, turtles, teddy bears, a rhinoceros, flowers, stars, and small beads. The bead colours are white, red, and multi-colour. The beads are strung onto silver wire and the key chain rings are also silver. Other keychains also included are made of small to large wooden beads in an elegant wood-brown colour. The beads are curated and strung onto silver wire and the key chain rings are also silver.

3. A custom printed lanyard from Tru Faces. Created by CNIB Venture Pool member, Emilee Schevers, this one of a kind lanyard is printed in navy blue with the new Tru Faces logo and is perfect for carrying your cards or keys while displaying a cause that aims to start conversations around disability awareness and inclusion.  The Tru Faces logo consists of the words "Tru Faces" and the words "Community. Education. Advocacy" underneath. A half circle outline of a person standing combined with a half circle outline of a person in a wheelchair is placed to the left of the words.

4. A sticker created by Christine MacDonald, a CNIB Venture Pool member. There are two sticker styles, one sticker is a blue/green colour and the other one is pink/blue on a white background. There is no logo on the sticker and each person will only get one style.
