Any pet, any time, any place

Have you ever struggled to transport your cat to the vet? Worried about how to handle your dog on the bus? Or felt uncomfortable taking your guide dog in a taxi? Paws en route has you covered.

Paws en route is a full-service transportation company specializing in ground and air transportation for people travelling with pets and service animals. It’s designed to ensure stress-free transport – including ground and air travel – that combines technology with a soft human touch to provide safe and reliable pet transportation services.

“We are thrilled to be a partner of CNIB Connects, and to be the chosen transportation service for guide dog handlers and anyone with a disability,” says Dacia Rohlehr, Founder and CEO of Paws en route. “We have a dedicated portal for CNIB Connects members to independently book rides, as well as a 1-866 number to speak with one of our customer support team members if they need any assistance.”

Proud champions of Canada’s sight loss community

Paws en route has been a dedicated CNIB partner for two years, providing exclusive discounts to people with sight loss and being a proud sponsor of our annual CNIB Pup Crawl fundraising event since 2021.

But more importantly, the team at Paws en route actively work to be accessible, respectful, and inclusive for all people with disabilities, including sight loss.

“Our drivers are trained in the accessibility and etiquette of working with people with sight loss,” says Dacia. “Rest assured, no one with a guide dog will ever be turned away by Paws en route.”

As a CNIB Connects partner, Paws en route is offering all CNIB Connects members 10 per cent off any ride. What’s more, they’ve also made a commitment to donate five per cent off the cost of CNIB Connects members’ rides right back to CNIB.
