If you are blind or have low vision, staying safe online can be challenging. Scam emails, fake messages, and confusing pop-ups are often designed to be hard to read and easy to click by mistake. This session is designed to help you understand common online threats and learn simple iPhone settings that can protect your personal information. We'll guide you through practical tips to make your devices safer and easier to use. You'll learn how to recognize phishing emails, avoid scams, and turn on important accessibility and security features that reduce risk. The session focuses on real-life situations.

What To Expect:

  • How to recognize phishing emails, scam texts, and suspicious phone calls
  • What to do if you receive a suspicious email or message — and what not to do
  • Important iPhone security settings to turn on, including passcodes, Face ID or Touch ID, and scam filtering
  • Steps to take if you accidentally click a suspicious link
  • Tips for using AI
