CNIB Foundation expands virtual program offerings across Canada
Main Content
In response to COVID-19, the CNIB Foundation has expanded its free virtual program offerings (e.g. career support, tech training, book clubs, youth groups) for Canadians impacted by blindness. We’re committed to combating the negative ramifications that isolation can have on Canadians with sight loss and ensuring our community is supported during this unprecedented time. If you're able, please give today: cnib.ca/donate. Thank you for your support.
The CNIB community is deeply saddened by the passing of Delores Beck, one of our most generous donors and a true champion of CNIB Guide Dogs. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
CNIB Guide Dogs has expanded its puppy program to the Ottawa/Carleton Place area and is in need of caring individuals to become volunteer puppy raisers for future guide dogs in the region. Previous experience with dogs is not required. If you’re eager to learn, CNIB Guide Dogs will provide you with support and training so you can feel confident in your volunteer role.
Join us at CNIB Lake Joe from August 11–14, 2025, for the Literacy for All: Canadian Vision Teachers Retreat—an exciting professional development opportunity for Canadian Teachers of Students with Visual Impairment (TSVIs).
CNIB is thrilled to announce a generous $50,000 gift from The Arthur & Audrey Cutten Foundation in support of our Inclusive Schools & Accessible Education Project.
