Exercise your Musical Muscles! Yes, we all have musical muscles! They start to move, stretch and swing when we hear certain rhythms. Free yourself of physical tension as well as emotional stress with playful movement. There are no wrong moves. You may sit or stand, or switch between sitting and standing. It’s always your decision. Each class begins with a simple, physical warm-up so your muscles will have a better range of movement. Let's have some fun together! This 45-minute class is a hybrid program that runs for 6-weeks virtually on Zoom and in-person at the CNIB GTA Community Hub every Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. Eastern Time.


Do you enjoy music? Well, Name that Tune is the game for you! Name that tune is a fun game where people can join in to listen and try to name as many songs as they can. Adaptive Dance instructor, Tiffany Tjosvold, will be leading a zoom-based, high energy, seated dance class for participants ages 19+. This class is suitable for all fitness levels. This Adjustment to Vision Loss (AVL) Discussion Series keeps the interactive conversation going. Chair yoga is a good option for anyone with injuries or with mobility issues. You will need comfortable clothing and a sturdy chair without arms or armrests for this class. Techniques include breath work, gentle movement with repetition, postures, sitting meditation and relaxation. No experience required. In support of our commitment to Safe and Accessible Journeys under CNIB’s new strategic plan, we are launching a new campaign for accessible public transit. The “Get on Board” campaign will take place in 13 municipalities across Canada from October 2-13, 2023. Campaign activities include a secret rider survey and a Town Hall where we'll discuss our findings and the actions required to enhance accessibility on our transit system. We hope you can join us at a local town hall to share your experiences and ideas of how we can improve the accessibility of regional transit systems!
