Your evening at Lake Joe Live

Take a closer look at what’s planned for Lake Joe Live: Muskoka Kitchen Party, presented by IG Wealth Management Throssell Group – from food and activities to the evening’s main program and Alan Doyle’s performance. Please note that event times may shift slightly.

Enjoy the flavours

Come hungry for a station-style East Coast feast by celebrated Canadian chef Ted Reader, from Jiggs dinner-inspired sliders to Newfoundland-style grilled chicken to traditional Newfoundland hodge podge. Food stations will be open from 4 to 7:30 p.m., with freshly shucked oysters available until 7 p.m.

Discover more about CNIB and the impact of our work. Visit our Canine Corral to meet some future guide dogs and explore other interactive experiences connected to blindness and accessibility. Activities and experiences will be open until 6:30 p.m.

Place your bids

Visit the lounge to browse an exciting selection of silent auction items and experiences, from memorable getaways to entertainment and more. Find your favourites, place your bids, and check back throughout the evening to see if you’re still in the lead. Bidding closes at 8:45 p.m.

Your event schedule

4 p.m. – The kitchen party begins

The evening gets underway on the shores of Lake Joseph. Grab a drink, dig into the food stations, explore the grounds, meet some future guide dogs, and start browsing the silent auction in the lounge.

5 p.m. – Freshly shucked oysters

Stop by for freshly shucked oysters, sponsored by Tasco Appliances. They’ll be served until 7 p.m., so be sure to enjoy some before they’re gone.

6:45-7:35 p.m. – Stories, celebration, and impact

Join us for the evening’s main program, a celebration of CNIB Lake Joe and the people who make its life-changing experiences possible. The program will feature:

  • A welcome from our host, Taylor Kaye 
  • A live auction featuring incredible items and experiences 
  • Content creator and bestselling author Molly Burke shares her personal connection to CNIB Lake Joe 
  • The Bonfire, a special fundraising moment to help more children who are blind experience camp 
  • Remarks from CNIB Board Chair Jane Muir Savidant about the importance of camperships and the sponsors helping bring Lake Joe Live to life

7:35 p.m. – Alan Doyle takes the stage

Get ready for the unmistakable energy of Alan Doyle as he brings his signature East Coast sound, heartfelt storytelling, and true kitchen-party spirit to the shores of Lake Joseph.

8:30 p.m. – Bar service closes 

Planning one final visit to the bar? Be sure to purchase your drinks before ticket sales and bar service end at 8:30 p.m.

8:45 p.m. – Final bids and raffle draw

Head to the lounge to check on your favourite silent-auction items and place any final bids before bidding closes. The raffle draw will also take place at this time.

9 p.m. – Until next time
