Classroom Accessibility Allies Helps Students Break Down Barriers to Inclusion
To mark the 2025 International Day of Persons with Disabilities, CNIB and the Rick Hansen Foundation (RHF) have launched a free resource to help teachers introduce accessibility and inclusion concepts to primary-grade students. Aligned with commonly identified provincial and territorial educational priorities, Classroom Accessibility Allies is packed with hands-on activities, from a simple accessibility checklist to a student worksheet and action plan, designed to guide students through a structured, process of identifying, addressing and reflecting on barriers to accessibility.

Song Bingo Game Night
Come join us on alternating Fridays for our Song Bingo Game Night! All you need to participate is access to phone or Zoom and a bingo card at home or online! Feel free to play as a family or house! There will be prizes for the first 3 bingo winners of each game and those who correctly name the most tunes! This program is open to participants of all ages. Song Bingo Game Night meets on Zoom on alternating Friday's from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

CNIB Legal Support Offerings
CNIB has expanded its advocacy work to now include legal support – offering both Referral Services and Litigation Grants to help remove barriers to justice. These two legal support offerings will help guide participants through navigating legal challenges and ensure they get access to the legal support they need to challenge iniquities and discrimination.

Senior Techmate – Empowering Connections
Join CNIB’s volunteer team! We’re looking for 10 compassionate and reliable Senior Techmates (55+) who are technologically savvy to work with seniors living with vision loss from January 2026 until March 2026.
Breeder Carer – CNIB Guide Dogs
Volunteers are a critical part of our guide dog program, and we’re always in need of volunteer puppy raisers and boarders. With support from CNIB Guide Dogs staff, you would play a vital role in bringing future CNIB guide dogs into the world by caring for one of our adult dogs from 12 months of age through the end of their breeding career, as well as supporting whelping and the early socialization of puppies up to 12 weeks old.
