The CNIB Foundation is 100% funded by charitable donations from people and organizations like you.
Our programs are organized in five categories that reflect the ambitions, needs and interests of our community.
Live: Our “Live” programs link people who are blind or partially sighted with a community of support, vital to reducing the incidence of depression and isolation. They enhance daily living skills so individuals can seize the future with confidence.
Peer Support and Mentorship Programs
Play: Our “Play” programs are all about connecting with others in a safe and inclusive environment, showing that people with sight loss can do anything.

Work: Our “Work” programs give people with sight loss the skills and resources to achieve their career ambitions and help employers tear down barriers for blind job-seekers and employees.
Career Support and Employment Programs
Learn: Our "Learn" programs foster social development and independence for students who are blind and teach braille literacy skills to people of all ages. Programs are designed to improve graduation rates, develop key skills and increase self-confidence.
