CNIB Lake Joe In-Person Programs

Like many of you, we have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the last 14 months, we have been communicating with local, provincial, national and even international camps to gather as much information as possible to make the best decision regarding our in-person camp programs for 2021. Through these conversations, we've heard that this season will likely see very limited in-person camp programming across the board. While the Ontario Government has not formally announced whether overnight camps will be permitted to operate this year, out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our in-person camp programs for 2021.

We were eagerly planning and remained hopeful that we could offer in-person camp programs, but the health and safety of our campers, staff, volunteers, and the neighbouring communities remains our top priority.

But it’s not all bad news!

Although in-person camp programs will not be offered, our team continues to explore new opportunities to enjoy CNIB Lake Joe that we look forward to sharing with you.

Until we connect again at CNIB Lake Joe, we encourage you to connect with us online through our CNIB Lake Joe@Home virtual programs. We're also inviting you to celebrate 60 years of CNIB Lake Joe, as we celebrate warm memories and bright futures.
