Connecting the Dots is Canada's largest educational and professional development conference focused on education, technology, and employment for people who are blind or partially sighted. Hosted by CNIB, the 2023 Connecting the Dots conference will be a hybrid experience with both in-person and online programming.
We’re looking for talented photographers and entertainers with sight loss for our in-person Connecting the Dots events in Toronto and Vancouver!
Event Details
- Toronto: Tuesday, October 24, 2023
- Vancouver: Wednesday, November 8, 2023
Photographers
- Seeking local photographers in Toronto and Vancouver regions. One local photographer per region.
- Roughly a 4 hour onsite time commitment on the day of the event.
- Would also like photographer to work in tandem with our communications team onsite to share images on social media.
- Final deliverables of 30-40 edited high-resolution digital files of exhibitors and networking guests.
Entertainers
- Seeking local entertainers is in Toronto and Vancouver regions. One local entertainer per region.
- Roughly a 4 hour onsite time commitment on the day of the event.
- As important networking will be happening during the evening reception, talent should be comfortable with being light background entertainment. There may be an opportunity for a performance at reception onset.
RFP instructions
Responses should include:
- Photography portfolio or entertainment sample reel
- At least 3 testimonials or references
- An approximate quote given the above information
