As of February 1, 2025, CNIB Brampton has transitioned to a hybrid program delivery model.
While our physical office may be closing, CNIB continues to offer in-person programs in community spaces and virtual programming online and over the phone.
As an organization with a mandate to remove barriers for Canadians with sight loss, we must adapt to the changing landscape to meet the evolving needs of the community we serve. By transitioning to a hybrid program delivery model, we are able to diversify our program offerings and reach more people where they’re at, both virtually, and in person.
CNIB has been working hard to develop innovative methods to deliver our programs and services. Virtual programs eliminate transportation and geographical barriers while connecting participants with a community of people who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision from across country.
Delivering in-person programs in community spaces like libraries, community centres, churches, etc., enables us to strengthen our ties within the community, expand our impact, and ultimately provide more support for people with sight loss in our communities.
