Interested in learning the basics of knitting? Join others who are also blind or partially sighted for a beginner level, step-by-step instruction on how to knit.
The group will meet every two weeks to learn new skills, support one another, and tackle a small knitting project.
The following supplies are required to participate: thicker yarn (1 ball or more of a medium weight yarn gages 4-6 at very most), 4.5mm-5.5mm straight aluminum needles that are not overly long, a sewing yarn needle, and scissors.
This group runs via Zoom web conference biweekly on Wednesdays from 12 to 1 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.
