Want to get the most out of your new android smartphone or tablet? Android's smart devices are full of handy accessibility features, from magnification to screen reading! CNIB SmartLife is hosting a series where we show you what you can do with your device and customize it for your unique needs. We’ll explain what the different parts of the Phone and tablet do, introduce you to the interface, showcase accessibility features to empower you, and teach you about Google Assistant, your voice-controlled assistant! Each week, we’ll take on a different topic.
Here’s what to expect:
- Week 1 Thursday, February 15: Introduction to Android Accessibility on your smart phone or tablet/overview of available accessibility features.
- Week 2 Thursday, February 22: Features for users with low vision.
- Week 3 Thursday, February 29: Features for users with total vision loss.
- Week 4 Thursday, March 7: Controlling your device with your voice – Google Assistant and dictation.
Come every week or choose your sessions – don't miss out on maximizing your device's potential!
