Are you planning to go on any epic trips this summer? Will you be playing any sports or trying any new super fun activities? How about camping or visiting some provincial or national parks? Share your best "Adventure Reporter" videos with us! Not only will you have the chance to end up on a CNIB Youtube channel, but you will also be showing others with vision loss how to adapt and explore. Maybe you can show how you adapt a sport to make it more accessible. Show how you navigate with your white cane and/or technology to explore a trail in your local provincial park! Show how you work with a sighted guide to ride a tandem, go rock climbing, do high ropes, play soccer, set up your camping tent, cruise along in your kayak. The sky is the limit when it comes to adventure reporting. Get out there, get creative, have fun!

Here's how to participate:

  • Take a single video of your adventure, no more then 3 minutes. Describe where you are, what you are doing, how you are doing it.
  • Be a leader! Remember to be energetic, enthusiastic and informative. You are the Adventure Reporter, so get your audience excited and engaged!
  • You can submit as many as you wish throughout June-August and a few lucky participants will have their videos not only shared on a CNIB Playiist on Youtube (with parental permission of course), but will be shared across the country to all CNIB staff as well.
  • To share the video, email ryan.vanpraet@cnib.ca If the video is too long, Ryan will send you a link where you can upload your video to a folder.

Prizes!

  • Everyone who submits a video will be eligible for some draw prizes throughout the summer. This could be a Sportchek gift card, a gas card for mom and dad to help take you on more adventures, a gift card to a running shoe store to ensure you have proper footwear for your adventures!
  • When you register, we will also send you the link to the CNIB YouTube Playlist, where you can see videos we post. We can not post every single video to this playlist, but we will pick ones that are fun, informative, empowering and unique.

Register for the program. To register, please complete the CNIB Auto Registration Form.
