The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has opened a public consultation to help ensure broadcasters, including online streaming services, make their content more accessible for persons with disabilities.

As part of the consultation process, the CRTC is asking for public feedback on how television and online streaming services can be made more accessible for Canadians with disabilities.

CNIB will be submitting a formal submission, and we want your voice to be included.

Tell us about your experiences, what’s working well, what isn’t, and what needs to change so everyone can find and enjoy the content they love without barriers.

Please take a few minutes to share your anonymous feedback by completing our short survey by November 23, 2025: CNIB Community Input – CRTC Accessibility Consultation.

Your input will help CNIB advocate for stronger accessibility standards across all TV and streaming platforms in Canada.
