This meetup is for current students in their final years of study at W. Ross Macdonald School or recent alumni. Youth ages 17 to 25 looking for an opportunity to stay connected with their WRMS peers can register to take part in our inclusive and safe monthly hangout space.
This program will contain casual and directed components. Participants will have the chance to talk about challenges they have experienced or are experiencing post-graduation. Current students can chat about concerns related to finishing studies and taking next steps in their life journey.
Attendees will be introduced to CNIB services and additional community service providers may be invited to offer informational sessions. Group chat will be focused in a positive manner with an eye towards personal growth and development.
Occasional exercises may be introduced to boost social dynamics and emphasize soft skills. Most importantly, students can stay part of a thriving and dynamic peer group and maintain connectivity to one another!
This group meets on the third Thursday of every month from 7:30 to 8 :30 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.
Registration required. To register for this program, please contact Walter Dickinson, Coordinator, Child and Youth at walter.dickinson@cnib.ca or call 1-800-563-2642.
