Have you heard of the Hable One? It’s a handheld braille keyboard for your iPhone, iPad, or Android device with large, tactile keys. You can also control your phone with the Hable One by pressing key combinations to tell VoiceOver or TalkBack what to do and to take shortcuts to common tasks. The Hable One is small enough to fit in a pocket, but sturdy and comfortable in even the biggest hands.
The Hable One is perfect if you know braille, and if you don’t there’s the brand new, Hable Easy. The Hable Easy is the same device as the Hable One, but optimized for non-braille users. On the Hable Easy, the keys all have dedicated functions, so you can do a lot of things just by pressing one button. For instance, you can go to your phone’s home screen, start voice dictation, or even start and stop your music. There’s more you can do with long presses and two-key combinations, so you get a lot of power in a simple package. Oh, and we can’t forget the best thing: the price.
