Sometimes our futures can be hard to imagine. High-School. College. University. Trade School. Master’s Degree. PHD. Internships. Placements. Summer Jobs. Professional Associations. First Jobs. Careers. Moving up the ladder. Transitioning Careers. It's enough to make your head spin! Listening to a successful person with a shared experience can be a source of motivation and inspiration. The Learning Academy is pleased to present our new monthly youth-oriented talk, the Career Voices Speaker Series.
Participants will interact with field leaders experiencing sight loss that will share their challenges and successes in education and career. Following each lecture, attendees can ask in-depth follow-up questions and practice active listening and thoughtful communication skills.
The Career Voices Speaker Series takes place on the last Thursday of each month from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Eastern on Zoom. Zoom information will be provided after registering.
Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.
