A peer support group for people who are blind or partially sighted to learn from and connect with others who are managing sight loss and share strategies, tips, and local resources in a welcoming and understanding environment. This group aims to foster connection, mutual support, and empowerment through shared experiences and knowledge. This peer support group is open to individuals with sight loss living in the Sault Ste. Marie/Algoma district, as well as those in related groups.
The Algoma Vision Support Network meets on the second Thursday of every month from 1 to 3 p.m. on Zoom or telephone. Call in information will be shared after registering.
Please be advised that you must register for all programs. We kindly ask you to RSVP a minimum of 1 full business day before the start of the program.
